Wintertime Events At the Village of Baytowne Wharf
If you’re visiting the Destin area this Holiday season (especially with kids), there is SO much to do nearby that it can be hard to keep track of. Today we’re detailing out the fun list of wintertime events at The Village of Baytowne Wharf.
Baytowne on Ice
Dust off those skates and get in the winter spirit at The Village of Baytowne Wharf’s Baytowne on Ice. For those visitors who miss the cold and ice, our seasonal ice rink is the perfect opportunity to share some of your favorite holiday traditions. Ice rink is open October 27th – February 2nd. Hours vary daily.
Holiday Concert Series/Visits with Santa
The Village of Baytowne Wharf combined two of their biggest events into one fun filled evening. Every Wednesday beginning at 6pm, bring the family to enjoy a free concert series on the lawn, with a choreographed light show. Santa will also be present for the littles to take photos with and talk to. Every Wednesday features a different musical act so you can come more than once for something new!
12 Nights of Lights
In the month of December, you can find a festive light show happening every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday leading up to Christmas. The shows will happen 3 times per evening at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm, so come grab dinner and wait for the evening to sparkle!
Tuba Christmas
This unique holiday event is happening at The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin on Saturday December 8th. Enjoy some of your favorite holiday classics played in jazz for free on the Village Lawn. Bring the whole family as Santa will also be there taking photos with the kids!
Winter Wonderland
The Village of Baytowne Wharf’s Event Plaza is turning into a Winter Wonderland full of real snow! Join us on Saturday Dec 22 for your taste of a White Christmas. Slide down our ice slide, make snow angels, and enjoy a day of frosty fun for the whole family.
Baytowne Countdown
End 2018 with a bang at the Village of Baytowne Wharf! Enjoy our family friendly New Years Eve from 6-8pm with face painting, kids activities, and LIVE music on the Baytowne LIVE stage, finishing off with a fireworks display at 8pm. Ring in the New Year with an evening to remember, with two breathtaking fireworks displays at 8pm & midnight. Dance the night away with LIVE music until 1am, featured on the Events Plaza Stage.
