Ice Skating at Baytowne on Ice in Baytowne Wharf

Many people who vacation on the Emerald Coast always know that there are endless activities to keep your friends and family entertained, whether you are traveling with toddlers or adults alike. One of our favorite winter activities that many of our tourists may not know about is Baytowne on Ice, located right in the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

What is Baytowne on Ice

If you thought the warm weather here on the Emerald Coast would stop you from ice skating this winter, think again! Baytowne on Ice is a “pop-up” ice skating rink located right in the front of the village of Baytowne Wharf, at the Community Broadcasters Skating Pavilion right next to where you can come to see Santa and his sleigh.

When is Baytowne on Ice Open?

Baytowne on Ice is open from October 26th – January 31st. Check out the availability calendar located below.

What Times

The different times vary depending on the availability calendar located below. (it is color coordinated) but the times range between:

•       12 PM – 6 PM (orange)
•       4 PM – 9 PM (green)
•       4 PM – 10 PM (yellow)
•       11 AM – 10 PM (blue)

Pricing:

The pricing for Batowne on Ice is as follows:

$11 for 90 Minute Skate + $3 Skate Rentals

Now that we have the important information out of the way, we just want to let you know from personal experience that the Ice-Skating rink is so much fun!. While they encourage it to be suitable for families, they do not offer skate rentals under size 8 (which fit like a 9), so it would not be ideal for kids under four years of age. The little ones cannot wear tennis shoes on the ice, and parents cannot pick them up to skate with them. So keep that in mind when planning your skating trip at Baytowne On Ice.

If you have kids that fit in the suitable skate rental category, you will be able to enjoy some fun on the ice! They also have PVC Skate trainers available for those who are just learning how to skate.

We believe this is one of the most fun locations to be at with so many other family activities.
