CamillesCrystalBeach

Miramar beach is a great place to vacation: The Emerald Green waters, the sugar sand beaches, and of course the amazing food this beach town has to offer. There are so many restaurants to choose from here in Miramar Beach so we are going to tell you our top 5 favorite Miramar Beach restaurants that you should try when you come into town. Our where to eat in Miramar Beach list contains Italian, sushi, coastal treasures, and more. Let’s dive in!

Emeril’s Coastal

If you are in the mood for a more upscale evening without completely breaking the bank, then Emeril’s Coastal is for you. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food is fresh and perfectly plated like a work of art. Emeril Lagasse is a well-renowned chef, known for his New Orleans style cooking, and his Grand Boulevard restaurant certainly does not disappoint. Emeril’s Coastal is known for its fresh seafood and signature cocktails, so when you are looking for a nice evening out, come on by and try the coastal platter and chargrilled oysters. If you want a unique experience for that special birthday celebration, then you’re in for a real treat! Emeril’s Coastal staff bring out a cotton candy tray that lights up the room with its sparkler, providing a celebration to remember here on the Emerald Coast!

Fat Clemenza’s

I don’t know about you, but when I go on vacation, I definitely cannot skip out on finding some good Italian Food. And Fat Clemenzas foots the bill for the best Italian food in Miramar Beach. The restaurant is tucked away right in the heart of Holiday Plaza. It has a great atmosphere; the food is not overpriced, and the food portions usually give you enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Whether your idea of fresh Italian food is a fresh wood-fired pizza or Seafood Linguine this is your one-stop shop for authentic Italian Cuisine in Miramar Beach.

The Crab Trap

If you are looking for a laid-back local spot that’s right on the beach, then you need to head over to The Crab Trap. What kind of food do they serve at this local hot spot in Miramar beach? Let’s just say they don’t call it the crab trap for no reason! Snow Crab, Crab dip, Dungeness crab, Alaska Snow Crab legs, Alaska Red King Crabs are some of the great offerings the crab trap has just to name a few! They are located right on the beach off of Old Hwy 98. They have a beach bar and a playground for the kids, making it the ideal place for everyone to have a good time! At the crab trap, you might have come just for the food, but we know that you will love the amazing beach view too!

Camille’s at Crystal Beach

If you are in the mood for fresh seafood and award-winning sushi, then Camille’s at Crystal Beach is the place for you. The atmosphere may be casual, but the food is out of this world. Camille’s gives you a combination of fresh fish and authentic Japanese ingredients making it unparalleled to sushi anywhere else in Miramar Beach. We recommend getting a seaweed salad, some edamame, and then try their back down roll, or big Papi sushi rolls to really get your taste buds rocking. If sushi isn’t your thing then try their pizza, stuffed shrimp, or seafood gumbo. They do not cut corners when preparing their food, so sometimes there may be a little wait, but we promise your taste buds won’t be sorry!

Rum Runners

Now our list would not be complete without one of our favorite Baytowne Wharf restaurants that checks all of the boxes for a good time in Miramar Beach. Good food? Check. Drink Specials? You bet. Atmosphere? Let’s just say you walk in the door and you ultimately feel ready to have a good time. What about live entertainment? Double-check! Rum Runners has live entertainment every night from 6-12 p.m. and the “world-famous” dueling pianos that play all of your favorite tunes from yesteryears and today Thursday – Saturday starting at 7:00 p.m. Looking to see what’s good on the menu? Try their mahi-mahi sandwich or Jerk chicken with their signature drink – the rum runner.

As you can see, whether you are looking for something upscale or low-key Miramar Beach has the restaurants that meet your needs. Indoor & outdoor dining are both open in the Florida panhandle, but if you are looking to practice your social distancing and still eat the best of what the Emerald Coast has to offer, most of these restaurants have pick-up or delivery options available to fit your needs.
