Things To Do For Your Vacation Rental Property Post Covid-19

Summer is upon us and in this post Covid-19 world, we want to let you know that we are aware that things are going to be different, and we are here for you and will navigate this “new normal” together. The Florida Vacation Rental world has been on a roller coaster these past couple of months, but now that we are all back in business, we are going to discuss the things you can do for your property post-COVID-19.

Clean out the Owner’s Closets

You may have one or several closets in your vacation home that have your personal belongings and other items you hold dear, but now is as good of a time as any to remove any unwanted items in your owner’s closets or anything you’d like to bring home with you.

Get Rid of the Extra Linens

In this post-COVID-19 era, It is time to take all of the extra linens out of the closets. For sanitary reasons, we have switched all of the bedding for the bedrooms to duvets and the linens are changed after every guest, so it’s time to take all of the unnecessary linens and throw pillows out of the property. This way, they won’t get used by guests, and it will make it easier for the housekeeping staff to sanitize the property.

Declutter the Living Areas

Our cleaners are the best in the business! This means they will strive to make sure that your property is at its very best for each guest’s arrival. Now that we have our post-COVID-19 cleaning guidelines in place, we want to make it easier than ever to provide a safe environment for your guests to come and enjoy, so taking out knick-knacks and dust collectors in the property would be a step in the right removing old direction.

Take Out Old Electronics

We have seen it time and time again, the closets in the property become a graveyard for old electronics. Not quite ready to throw them out? We are here to tell you that VCR’s and box TV’s won’t be making a comeback any time soon. Use this as an opportunity for “spring cleaning” and anything that isn’t in-use in the property should be removed.

Keep It Simple

We are all navigating this “new normal” together and we just want to assure our owners that we are doing everything possible to provide the safest properties for your renters. In a nutshell, the least amount of clutter makes it easier for the cleaners to disinfect and make your property beautiful for the next renters.
