Easter Bunny Sightings on the Emerald Coast
If you are one of the many guests joining us for Easter weekend, you are sure in for a treat! The Easter bunny is popping up all over town, and you sure aren’t going to want to miss the many spring events happening in the next couple of weeks in the Destin-Miramar Beach Area!
Easter Bunny & New Video Arcade at Lulu’s Destin
April 3-4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. join the Easter Bunny at Lulu’s in Destin as they are excited to reveal their brand new video arcase! Free $20 play cards will be given to the first 50 kids on both days! The Easter Bunny will be there for some socially distant photo-ops and handing out some easter gift bags with candy, crafts, and plastic eggs. Will you have one of the four lucky kids that find the golden eggs with a $100 play card in it? You have to show up to find out!
Visit the Easter Bunny at HarborWalk Village
On April 4th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. come and visit the Easter Bunny at HarborWalk Village on the main stage as he is giving out FREE 4×6 photos and you won’t want to miss the different children’s activities and the golden egg treasure hunt!

Mermaids & Pirates
If you are looking for some Emerald Coast fun, you won’t want to miss the mermaid and pirates at HarborWalk Village. Seek hidden treasure and magic mermaids with a live performance by Captain Davy on the main stage at HarborWalk Village on April 3rd & 10th beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Kitty Hawks Kites Spring Kite Festival
All kite enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Kitty Hawk Kites Spring Kite Festival on April 3rd and 4th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for some free kite-flying fun! This event is perfect for kids of any age and there are some special activities at the Kitty Hawk Kites store at the Boardwalk.
Aj’s Spring Fling Cobia Tournament
The Aj’s spring fling cobia fishing tournament is happening April 2nd – 3rd. This year the tournament is benefitting the Destin Fishing Museum and the Kids on the Coast Foundation. Tournament weigh-ins and festivities will be on the docks from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will be free and open to the public. Definitely a sight that all fishing fanatics won’t want to miss!
Wednesday Night Concert Series at the Village of Baytowne Wharf
The Wednesday night concert series is back at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Every Wednesday from 7-9 head to the events plaza stage at the wharf where you can catch a free concert! Each Wednesday they have a new band that is sure to entertain.
Sunday Cinema at the village of Baytowne Wharf
Looking for some Sunday evening fun with the fam? Grab your beach blankets, or a nice lawn chair and head on over to the plaza lawn at the village of Baytowne Wharf where each Sunday they pick a family-friendly flick that is free for all to enjoy!
Boomin Tuesdays at Baytowne Wharf
Fireworks are back at the village of Baytowne wharf. DJ Mike Whitty is in the events plaza from 6:30 – 8:30 and then you can look over the lagoon at the fireworks show that begins promptly at 8:30.
As you can see the spring is full of some amazing activities that are sure to keep your vacation itinerary full! If you haven’t booked your stay yet, it’s time to get those on the books! The entire city of Destin is seeing more volume over these next few weeks than we have in years, so make sure you don’t miss out on an amazing beach vacation that you have been dreaming of over the past few months.
