Beautiful locations, great pools, friendly staff, and family activities make this resort a popular choice, especially due to its convenient location and vibrant Gulf atmosphere. The resort offers good value with well-maintained grounds, good service, tasty food, mostly friendly staff, a great beach, and excellent housekeeping. We would definitely return. Very Romantic for us two as a couple with everything we need and amazing 360 degrees view of the entire gulf front, from our bedroom, to the living room, to the kitchen and balcony.
The Level Upgrade was worth it, with a private concierge, larger room near the pool and restaurant, and access to exclusive areas that were less crowded. The grounds are tropical, clean, and walkable within 2-5 minutes. Our spacious room was clean, very well-advanced, with daily housekeeping. Service was generally excellent, with mostly friendly and attentive staff especially the boys at the beach who took very good care of us with seating, chairs, umbrellas and rides.
Pools were pleasant and not overcrowded, with no issues finding chairs if arriving early. The private Level beach was one of the nicest we've seen, with shaded chairs available daily. Trams ran frequently with minimal wait. Overall rating: 5 out of 5 stars.

The windows all throughout the living and bedroom display the view beautifully. The a/c works great! The water pressure is strong! 3rd floor unit, slightly dated but very clean and spacious. Only complaint is the clothes dryer doesn't dry but who's trying to do laundry on vacation anyway... Packed beach! Id be sure to reserve front row beach chairs ahead of time for entire stay although the unit doesn't provide 3 beach chairs, an umbrella and a boogie board. Easy check in/checkout, gate and door codes through text.

The rental was everything we expected. Great views and balcony. Was well suited for our needs. With not knowing what type of coffee makers they have, it would be nice for them to leave a day or two's worth of filters or pods on site so you can have coffee the next morning without having to go out and buy what you need after checking in late in the afternoon.

What a great getaway with my granddaughter. The location is perfect. We enjoyed being so close to the entrance to the pool and beach. The only issue we had was our a/c went out the last night we were there. It took too long to get someone out to check it so we left.

too many people on this section of the beach which we found out was not private to this condo....unfortunate, extremely crowded
the tub/shower drained very slowly...hated standing in ankle deep shower water; light over the dining table flickers..had to turn it off; living room TV in an awkward position; coffee pot definitely needs to be replaced

The parking was great, right at the door! The Condo was so easy right off the elevator! The view was great!! The Condo was a great size the only problem was the furniture and decor. It was very dated and very dull! It would be a great condo with a brighter coat of paint and beachie furniture!! That is what everyone wants when they come to the beach!!!

The view of the beachfront was spectacular. The condo roomy. The condo, however, was so cluttered with decorations way past their prime, fake flowers everywhere. Had to move some to make room for our laptops and such. Not an especially restful decor.

The condo is unusual in its decor and we loved it....right on the Gulf with walls of windows we had the best view possible. Steps from the sand, pool and sun deck with a lovely balcony..depending on the weather always an option for outside living unless it was raining. It was quiet and easily accessible to elevator, Gibson office and car garage. We had a couple of maintenance needs that were addressed within a couple of hours after emailing Gibson.

We had a wonderful visit in 4231. Roomy and comfy. Well supplied kitchen. Third floor location next to elevator is perfect. No worries about noise. October sunsets are just beautiful. Appreciated the extra beach equipment provided.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandestin. The condo had a great view and all the amenities. Loved the common area and it has a restaurant and bar on site. The water was so clear and beautiful and the waves were fun to play in we loved being able to take a walk every day on the sidewalk along side the golf course.
Conveniently located with plenty of shopping and dining close by.
This is our 2nd time and we will be back.

Our family had such a great time. Having the kitchen was a huge money saver and we loved being able to sit on the balcony after the kids went to sleep. Lots of space to spread out in throughout the unit. Amazing 180 degree views!

Fantastic condo, views are amazing. Condo could definitely use some maintenance. Door to laundry room about to fall off hinges, dishwasher top shelf falling down, will barely hold dishes on it, and shower floor is slick, dangerous esp. for older people.

Accommodations were fine. The shower/tub did not drain well, so you stood in water. View of beach was beautiful. However, there was public beach ramps on either side of the condo. I have never seen so many people. Even the public beach acces folks could rent the umbrellas and chairs, so those were 4 & 5 rows deep with people. Then add in all of the other beach chairs and various things the public beachers brought, and it was CROWDED. Overall, the condo is in a beautiful location. Decorated nicely. Great parking. Does not include beach chair rental or beach towels, where other condos do, but they do provide chairs you can take down to the beach.

We're so sorry Dana! Unfortunately, a busy beach is customary for Spring Break in Destin, FL. All of our beaches along the coast (even down to PCB and Westwards) have beach chair rentals that seem to have "taken over." The good thing though is that normally, if you get out there early, you can setup shop wherever you like! We have seen many people get front row. GBR has nothing to do with those vendors, but maybe it's worth the tip for next time. Our apologies for the tub drain, we have taken care of that and would have been happy to do so while you were here, give us a call next time.

Overall, a great trip. Very satisfied with Gibson rental company. The company called us when the unit was ready early. The check-in/out process seamless. The condo did not disappoint either. The view was incredible! There was only one very upsetting part of this trip and that was the company contracted to set up chairs/umbrellas for people who chose to pay for them. Each day was a fight with them. Even though the beach is public and we were out there with our chairs set up before they set up; they actually put a chair directly touching the back of my chair-they even moved another man's chair. When confronted, they said that we had to move our chairs because they had specific feet requirements on where to set up their chairs. We did not move! This ongoing battle combined with the already very overcrowded beach, will really weigh on our decision to go back here. Several people complained at the rental office. I think it's important that the property owners are aware that this is going on. They need to devise another method for setting up the chairs so that everyone is happy.

2nd time to rent the same condo. We like to be able to see the east & west side without leaving the unit. Best restaurants: McGuires (go before 4:00 to get lunch prices & it is very busy at night), Broken Egg, & Donut Hole.
Stay away from Back Porch (over price, long wait & not very good). In addition to walking the beach, I like to walk to Bay Town (watch out for the bicycle riders).

This was probably the best destination vacation we have ever taken. The only thing I can think of that I'd change is that the TV remote controls needed fresh batteries because they didn't always respond on the first click. It was just a fabulous condo that was part of a fabulous property.

This unit is by far the best available in Beachside II. The views from each direction allow you to see the sunrise and sunset. The Gibson app makes check in/out so easy. We are already planning to book this unit again in the summer.

We enjoyed three weeks at this condo rental and overall enjoyed it with a great view and a lovely beach. There is no recycling facility on the property for paper nor bottles nor plastic which is terrible given the waste thrown down the chute. Sandestin needs to address this issue. The condo furniture could do with a bit of updating for occasional chairs which were rather worn out. Other than that, good supply of dishes, pots, pans, etc.

Had a wonderful 5 day stay! Condo was terrific, particularly for its views. Comfortable bed! It's on our list for a return trip!!

Wonder stay! Weather being perfect help! Staff helpful and sincerely pleasant. Fantastic location. Finally figured out no return air in master. No flat screen in Master. Was replaced on complaint by staff. (World series playoffs, go Cubs maybe next year). Very clean. Remember to take dish soap and counter spray and clothes washing powder. Need more practice. Would like comfortable balcony seating. Would definitely recommend this unit for 2.

The location of this condo was perfect for its views. Both east and west facing windows, as well as a south facing balcony, allowed us to see sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of the condo and its balcony. Being on the 3rd floor, the unit was high enough to see the ocean/beach over the dunes, but low enough that you felt like you were right on the beach. The pool area was nice and the water was the perfect temp.
The condo was clean. The furniture is in decent shape for a rental (albeit a little tacky, but that's subjective). The bed was comfortable. Gibson Rentals was easy to work with and responded to our clogged shower/tub drain quickly; but I'd recommend picking up some of your own items and not relying on those provided, depending on the length of your stay: shampoo/conditioner, soap, dish soap/detergent, toilet paper, laundry detergent, coffee. The coffee maker is a standard size, so even though the rental company provides 2 Folgers 4-cup packs, I'd recommend picking up your own filters and coffee. Our unit didn't have a bottle opener, so we picked up a cheap one and left it behind (hopefully it will be there for future guests :)).

We had a great vacation experience thanks to Gibson. The excellent condition of the unit, combined with the easy check-in and keyless entry made this one of our best beach weeks ever. Of course, the weather and beach being perfect certainly didn't hurt.

View was great. Condo was lovely. Only negative thing I can say was the debt collector calling the condo phone twice per day and the DVD player not having audio cables. Otherwise, fantastic place to vacation.

Condo has great views in all directions very rare. The staff got us a great price and just the right location.
