We enjoyed our stay at the Pilot House. We were close to the pool, waking distance to some great restaurants and entertainment. The unit was clean and very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

The unit was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was just steps away from the pool and fitness center. It was also just a short walk to Baytowne Wharf. The patio area was quiet and relaxing. The communication with the rental company (Gibson) was excellent. We would stay here again!

Pilot House 328 was perfect for the trip my daughter and I took over Spring Break. The size was perfect as it was just the 2 of us; location was great, and management was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had plenty of activities right outside in Baytowne Wharf; Jolee Island was a short walk and the tram allowed us to travel to additional locations without the need to drive, search and pay for parking. Overall, this was a great experience. All staff- whether it be within Pilot House; local cafés; those working the activities within the resort or the tram driver- we very pleasant and helpful. Definitely a place we will visit again!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Pilot House 330. Although my wife would have preferred to be closer to the beach, and I would have loved for the pool we were at to have been heated, we really enjoyed the short walk to Baytown and the Explorie package that came with our room. Ragatta Bay is a championship style course and to get to play that each day was fantastic.

My family had a blast during our vacation! We love going to the Village at Baytown Wharf and we love staying at The Pilot House. It’s always clean! 328-330 Lockout was such a great place. Very clean! Being able to walk out the back door and be at the pool was a huge plus. Our bed was very comfortable. I usually don’t sleep much but was able to sleep late everyday. That meant so much to me. I can’t think of one thing that we didn’t like about our stay! We would love to go back and stay on our next trip back to The Village At Baytown Wharf.

Great place to rest your head for the night. Great location. Convenient to everything. Small space. Adequate for 2 people. Very clean. Do not drive a large vehicle. Parking garage is not suitable for very large vehicles.

Our condo was perfect! We were steps from the pool and gym. It was only a 10 minute drive to the beach or the TRAM is available. There is a good variety of restaurants and plenty for kids to do. Very family friendly resort.

My family of 4 had a great time. The unit was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The unit was steps from the pool and fitness center. It was nice being within a quick walk to Baytowne Village. Something to take note of, there is a garage door entrance near the unit and you don't have to walk to the other end of the parking garage and then back down the long hall to the unit. Before our visit, the rental company called to let us know our washing machine was broken, which was nice of them to notify us. They brought us extra towels for our stay. During our stay, the unit did have alot of fruit flies in the kitchen and bathroom areas. I notified the rental company and I am sure they will address that. Overall it was a great condo.

Good- We have stayed at Baytowne several times. This condo was smaller than others we stayed in. The master also did not have a bathroom. That was the only downside for us.

We absolutely love Sandestin and have been going for almost 10 years. We’ve stayed in many areas and the Pilot House area is our favorite. We like having a condo because I like to cook and live like a real Floridian. But if we want other food it’s great to be steps away from the restaurants and shops of Baytown Wharf.
This particular rental was nice because it was on the corner and secluded.

We stayed for my soon to be sister in laws bachelorette trip! The pilot house was the perfect place! We had plenty of room for 8 girls to stay. The condos location was walking distance to the pool, which we enjoyed almost every evening, also walking distance to the shuttle, which brought us to the beach. Our condo was also walking distance to the wharf where we ate at several great restaurants. They had so many great things we only left the “property” once to go out on a pontoon boat. Big shout out to Julie who works with the shuttle service. When we couldn’t find an Uber or taxi to our boat rental location Julie was able to secure us a shuttle ride to and from the rental location at a very good rate. Honestly we all plan on returning to Baytown wharf and the Pilot House with our families in the future!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was extremely clean, everything was exactly as stated/shown in pictures. It was also easy to find, and felt very secure. The amenities were fabulous and the tram passes were so helpful taking us back and forth to the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

It’s really a great location. End/corner unit. Walk right out Your back door into the pool or down to Baytown wharf. The walk from the parking garage to the room is a bit of a hike. Grab one of those luggage carts in the garage. Trust me on that. Bed was medium firm, clean and comfortable. The living room furniture was nice also. We would stay here again, no doubt. Epic place to stay for baytown wharf events also

This place was better than expected. Super clean and beds very comfortable. There are lots of stores and restaurants downstairs, plus live bands in the evenings. There’s also a pool and hot tub if you want a break from the beach

Home was clean. Love close access to pool and Warren. Plenty of food and quick drive over to grand Blvd, avoiding traffic on 98. I would rent this again.

Overall the experience was good, the parking leaves a lot to be desired, the condo was clean, beds were not the most comfortable, but clean. The noise due to construction was absurd, but that is obviously not something that could have been prevented. The community is growing...the beach tram was excellent!! It was nice to not have to travel back in forth in your private vehicle. The pool was nice, easily access from the condo. For the price the ammenities could be updated, also the options for things to do could be easier to use, overall 4/5 stay

This is a great location just steps from all the restaurants, night activities, marina, etc of Baytowne Warf. The studio is more aptly described as a hotel room, which was fine for us, as we just need a place to sleep. The one thing that would really improve this room would be getting rid of the bulky dresser and putting a long skinny dresser with enough surface area on top to have room to put stuff. The little area by the fridge is not even big enough for making sandwiches and filling up water bottles. We loved finding the door right next to the room that allowed direct acces to the garage and pool without having to walk the very long hallways. We didn’t use the shuttle bc leaving all the beach stuff in the car was easier and there is plenty of parking beachside right where the shuttle drops you off. We never left the resort for eating, as there are so many options. Really liked the free perks from Gibson and the apps. We love staying at Sandestin because we hate the Destin traffic. The resort is beautifully well kept and has so much to offer. Oh, and as others have mentioned, they definitely need more hooks for hanging stuff in the bathroom. This is a great budget friendly choice for those looking to stay at the fancy place, but not pay the fancy price!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Everything is right there for you. The Pilot Hoise is in the middle of the resort and steps from the pool. The beach is a short tram ride away and food is all around the resort. Absolutely made it easy to have a good time.

The Condo was great!It was very roomy and had everything we needed. We arrived and parked our car and we did not move it again till we left. Walk out the back door to the pool and work out room. Down the stairs to the Village. It had everything we needed. Restaurants and plenty of activities for the children. The tram ride to the beach was very convenient. We really enjoyed the Condo and all the amenities and will return again.

The room was perfect for our needs. It has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker - works great for a quick breakfast. Located at Baytowne- so you are convient to restaurants and low key night life without having to drive. The staff responded to any question very quickly.

We had a AWESOME vacation! The unit was great very clean. The pool was right out the back door. But with the little court yard it made it very private... Very close to all the amenities, restaurants and shops. Tom fished on the pier every morning caught some red fish for dinner. Tram to beach was great. If I were to change anything it would be. I would love for it to be pet friendly and to have a couple rugs one in the bathroom I slipped on the bathroom floor on the first day and one in front of the sliding door coming in from the pool and bigger TV in living room. It's the little things. We will definitely be back!!!

We had an excellent time staying in the Pilot house. We had never stayed in that part of San Destin before. I loved the proximity to a private pool and access to the weight room. We never had a problem getting to the beach or finding parking. The room we stayed in was perfect for a family of four. Although the couch bed looked rather uncomfortable, my little boy had no problems. The king bed in the bedroom was very noisy to get in and out of. Other than that no complaints. Spacious, clean and very charming.

The room is a just cozy enough for 2 adults and 1-2 kids. Beds are SUPER comfortable. Bathtub is super deep if you like to take a bath. The price for this room was unbeatable and the rep I spoke to was super nice. Reservation process was super easy. Their downloadable app was very helpful!! The only downsides: no table or dresser. All your bags have to sit on the ground. (Unless the other bed isn’t in use.) There is one very small closet. And there is only 2 rolls of tissue provided and 4 towels. (We had to buy more tissue), and was glad I brought a few towels from home. The other thing, is this room is at the very end of 3-4 long hallways, which is a little inconvenient...We still very much enjoyed the place and would def stay again, but probably in a different room. The amenities at Baytowne Wharf were awesome. The sights and scenery are BEAUTIFUL!!

GBR is a great company to deal with for your vacation needs. Very professional and always courteous. This location is perfect. a walk across the pool yard and down the steps and you are in the in the middle of the action. Besides a few upgrades that need tending to (pillows, unstable coffee table) in the condo -- I would go through GBR again. Thanks for a great location, great service and great fun!

Overall, a good experience with 1 thing to be aware of. The first - when I originally booked the reservation in early 2018, I thought I was booking a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a small living room. In April, I went back to the site and realized when I read other reviews (that complained about misleading info about the rental) that I only rented the adjoining room, so 1 room, 1 bath. Originally I think they had a floor plan image of the entire “combined” rental, but at this point it is shaded properly to show the smaller area your actually renting. It worked out for me because it ended up only being me that stayed there, but if I there were 4 people it would have been “tight”. It looks like the info about the size of the accommodation has been updated to be more obvious about exactly what you’re getting, so hopefully this is a non-factor moving forward.
The online/app check in / check out, key access was very convenient and worked without any problems at all. Overall, as long as you know you’re getting 1 room with 2 beds and a bathroom for a pretty inexpensive rate (for Sandestin), you should be satisfied.

It was amazing! Close to Baytowne Warf and pool right outside your condo! Everything was very clean and as pictures. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Excellent location, property layout with all needs covered. Within 30 feet of the pool and closer to the gym with nice patio.

We loved the Baytowne Wharf area and the location of the condo. However, it was very small and we didn't realize the actually size from the description before we arrived. There was only one mirror, no dresser or chairs, and really no extra room at all in the "condo". There is not a kitchen just a shelf area with a small fridge and a coffee maker. It would be more accurately described as a small studio rather than a condo.

This condo was exactly as pictured & advertised. No complaints, other than the bed is somewhat hard & the pullout sofa is not comfortable at all. Being an end-unit on the ground floor, it has a private side patio & is very convenient to the fitness facility & pool. The location is also very convenient to the Baytowne Village area. Additionally, if you need extra space to get ready while someone's occupying the bath, the fitness/pool bath is just a few steps away right outside the unit's patio 's almost like having two bathrooms.

Love the quick and easy access and web app. Cannot believe how much time that saved. Great location, very clean, very quiet. We all loved the open fenced area and walk through the gate straight to Baytown. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, it was a great stay. The unit was clean and the location was great. We rented our unit together with 330, so we had access to the patio directly from the joined unit. Otherwise, it would have been a bit of a walk to get to the pool. My recommendation is predicated on joining the units together. If you're not renting 330, I'd suggest choosing another unit.

I booked this condo very last minute and was thrilled to find it was very well maintained, with everything that a family of three would need. The kitche was very well stocked with all equipment I needed ( I love to cook, so this was important to me). It is a little difficult to tell from the photos but the condo has a very nice sized L shaped fenced in patio, with a gate that leads directly to the pool and gym. The pool is beautiful, and so convenient when you have little kids. You can't beat the location for shops and restaurants as well as plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. All in all a great stay and a very nice condo.
The only negative I would say were the extra fees added for "mandatory home insurance" and fees to the property management company which added approximately $250 to my total bill. I felt this was excessive.

Overall a very good resort experience. Great beach, clean well maintained property overall. The unit is very good for a couple or a small family. Generally well maintained. There is some noise from the AC units and driveway next door but it is tolerable. The furnishings could maybe use a bit of an update but are clean and functional.
