The unit itself is very good-- clean, relatively updated, and the kitchen is decently stocked. All appliances (fridge/freezer, oven, blender, washer and dryer) worked well. The only real issues were 1) wifi was a little slow and internet only through our cell carrier was VERY spotty. We have T-mobile and the best spots were the beach itself and the bathrooms in the unit! 2) the bed was very uncomfortable. It didn't have enough support. 3) Tidewater itself is quite large and although there are 7 elevators, 1 was out of order and you could wait quite a while to be able to get onto the other elevators. For future guests, your best bets are elevators 4, 5, and 6, which are right next to each other.

Regarding the elevator situation, we understand how frustrating wait times can be, especially during peak periods. Tidewater has since resolved the issue with the out-of-service elevator, and we’re grateful for your helpful tip for future guests about the more efficient elevator banks.
